About Lincoln Heights
Lincoln Heights Elementary is a neighborhood school dedicated to working together with parents and community to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere, where students learn and grow into future leaders of tomorrow. Lincoln Heights is the oldest building in the district servicing 320 students. In winter 2009, they broke ground to add on more classroom space and improve the heating and cooling systems. The building stands as a beautiful, historical landmark in our city.
Lincoln Heights works to meet the needs of their students through a variety of programs. Programs include Bridges Math, Wit and Wisdom ELA, PBIS, Special Education, School-Wide Title 1, Speech, HALS (High Ability Learning Services), Social-Emotional Learning, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.
Lincoln Heights is involved in the process of MTSS, or Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. It is the desire that through this process, they will be able to identify and implement intervention strategies for students who are falling behind.
Lincoln Heights values their close family atmosphere: they understand that in order for their students to be successful, they need the support of parents and community. Teachers and staff work to build relationships through the PTO organization, grade level family fun nights, music programs and parent-teacher conferences with the goal of working together as a team to improve student achievement.
